With over two decades of experience in visual journalism and live media, Carlos built his career behind the lens and in high-stakes newsrooms. From 2005 to 2015, he served as Senior Editor and Photographer for Grosby Group, covering prestigious global events including the Oscars, Golden Globes, and Grammys, alongside managing on-location photo productions for leading South American publications such as Caras, Gente, and ¡HOLA! across Argentina and Brazil.

In 2015, Carlos joined Shutterstock as part of their initial on-location editing team and continues to contribute as a freelance entertainment photographer. Founding Ladera Sports in 2024, he shifted his focus to field-level soccer coverage, bringing fans closer to Major League Soccer—primarily the Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC)—and international tournaments leading into the FIFA World Cup[cite: 2].
